Road Transport and Highways Division recently bought about 3 lacs taka worth 500 China Man-controlled Bonsai to decorate the roads from Banani overpass to airport. Experts are saying this to be an unnecessary endeavor. Similar funding could get more Bangladeshi colorful tree. Even, the citizens are despising the look.

Citizens are complaining, big Bangladeshi trees are great source of shade and resting in such a busy city like Dhaka. Not to mention the burning heat.

Urban Planning Expert Iqbal Habib said, this is opposing our culture and neglecting the enriched nature.
