
Flood-damaged roads and various infrastructures to be repaired quickly – Secretary Md. Moshiur Rahman

Flood-damaged roads and various infrastructures in Bandarban will be repaired quickly, along with the government, public representatives and local residents should be more aware to deal with the disaster. Md. Moshiur Rahman, secretary of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry, made this comment after visiting various affected areas of Rowangchari-Ruma road while visiting Rowangchari upazila of the district.
The hill secretary also said that the development activities of the hilly areas will be conducted by giving preference to the high places in road construction along with various installations and development infrastructure. Planned implementation of projects in the three hill districts is required and all stakeholders are required to ensure that the projects are implemented properly. has Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board Vice Chairman (Additional Secretary) Mohammad Nurul Alam Chowdhury, Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board Member Md Jasim Uddin, Bandarban Hill District District Chief Executive Officer Md Abdullah Al Mamun, Executive Engineer Md Ziaur Rahman, Rawangchari Upazila Executive OfficerMd. Khorshed Alam Chowdhury, Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board Bandarban Unit Executive Engineer Abu Bin Muhammad Yashir Arafat, Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry Public Relations Officer Rejuan Khan and senior officials of various government departments and local public representatives were present.
Later on the same day, Honorable Secretary of Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, Md. Moshiur Rahman, NDC visited the Victim Support Center established at Bandarban Sadar Police Station. Mr. Saikat Shaheen, Superintendent of Police, Bandarban Hill District, Hossain Mohammad Raihan Kazemi, PPM Service, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration & Finance), Md. Shah Alam, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle), Bandarban Hill District and Mirza Zahir Uddin, Inspector of Police were present.
