UNB: The fourth meeting of the Eminent Persons’ Group (EPG) on future directions of BIMSTEC will be held in Dhaka on June 23-25.
The first and second meetings were held in Dhaka on January 25 and March 11-12 respectively. The EPG is committed to submit its report to BIMSTEC leaders at the Sixth BIMSTEC Summit.
The 3rd meeting of the Eminent Persons’ Group (EPG) on Future Directions of BIMSTEC was held, on May 12-13 at the BIMSTEC Secretariat in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum, member of EPG from Thailand, which is the current Chair of BIMSTEC. The members of EPG from six BIMSTEC member States participated in the Meeting. Ambassador Dharmapala Weerakkody also participated in the meeting.
