Many of the meritorious students of the country are going abroad for higher education and are taking up different jobs. Many of them are not even interested to return to their home country. There are a lot of discussions about why these students choose to study abroad. This is actually an old problem. Those who want to study more; they will go abroad for higher education. This cannot be stopped. There are very less opportunities for higher education in this country. Our country’s higher education is still far behind the West, even in comparison to India. As long as this is not developed, we cannot prevent brain drain. When these students go abroad, the government or education minister can make an agreement with them that if they are going to study abroad for three years, they have to complete their studies and come back and contribute to the same institution. You will return to this country so that the quality of education you have acquired can be useful to my country. If we can achieve this, then this country can benefit from meritorious students. Brain drain cannot be stopped but we can make these intellectual students return to our country.
