DOT Desk: Commerce Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh has said that the prices of edible oil in the country may come down in the next two days as the oil prices have declined in the global marketplace recently, reports Rising BD.
The commerce secretary said this while speaking at a press conference on the sidelines of the 12th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO) on Sunday (June 26).
“There could be good news regarding the prices of edible oil in the next two days. Hopefully, the oil prices will reduce. The calculation is being done to determine that,” Tapan Kanti Ghosh said.
If Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission sits with the oil refinery facility and informs us about their decision, then we can let you know how much money will come down. However, it can be said that the price of edible oil will reduce, he added.
