[2] Coronavirus has worsened the capital markets situation in Bangladesh. The capital markets had already been in turmoil due to the existing bad shape of banks and financial sectors. Coronavirus has emerged as a new addition to that.
[3] Since the news of coronavirus patient in Bangladesh has been revealed on March 8, in the last seven working days Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has lost market capitalization of Tk 44,128 crore. At the same time, the DSE index lost 683 points.
[4] According to market analysts, the coronavirus panic has caused a huge collapse in the capital markets of different countries. Investors are losing their capital almost every day.
The only way to get out of this situation is to not panic and sell the shares at low prices.
