Banglanews24: Visiting Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland assured of the organization’s support to Bangladesh on the Rohingya issue.
Patricia Scotland gave the assurance in a meeting with the Law Minister Anisul Huq on Thursday (August 9).
The two leaders have also agreed to strengthen the Commonwealth. After the meeting law minister said, “We agreed to make Commonwealth more powerful and effective. Without strength, the organization will not be able to fulfill its founding objectives. Besides, we had discussion regarding many current issues.”
