Sayeed Muhammad: All CNG refuelling stations across the country will remain closed for two additional hours during Ramadan, meaning that they will not be operational for 6 hours every day. The measure has been taken aiming to boosting gas supply in the power plants, according to UNB. The decision was taken at a meeting between ministries and government agencies, Petrobangla, FBCCI and Shop Owners Association yesterday. State Minister for Energy, Nasrul Hamid disclosed the development while briefing reporters after the meeting, saying the filling stations will remain closed between 5pm and 11pm. He urged the shop keepers, factories and markets to refrain from any unnecessary use of electricity during the month of fasting that presumably starts from May 17.
