A freedom fighter, who converted to Christianity from Islam 15 years ago, was hacked to death by unidentified miscreants at Haspatalpara in Kurigram town on Tuesday morning.
A gang of miscreants came on a motorbike and in a sudden swoop started hacking Hossain Ali,65, while he was having his morning walk.
