Bollywood Anticipated Part I: Upcoming Movies 2016

Dangal: The sports drama film Dangal will have Amir Khan playing the role of a wrestler named Mahavir Singh Phogat. This film is the most anticipated one from the Bollywood world and is expected to be released in late December 2016. Unfortunately, the Khan fans have to wait longer for the novel story to unfold Mahavir teaching wrestling to his two daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phoghat. Geeta then goes on to become the first female wrestler to win a gold medal at a Commonwelath Games, while her sister achieved the silver in the 2010th edition of the Games. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the movie is expected to show Amir wrestle a hit out of various combats.
Mohenjo Daro:  Directed by Oscar-nominated epic Ashutosh Gowariker, Mohenjo Daro is known to be the most expensive film of 2016. The film stars Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hedge in a romantic adventure in an ancient Indus valley civilization around 2600 B.C. The music is by A. R. Rahman and the film is scheduled to be aired in August 2016.
Raees: Raees is one of the most anticipated crime drama story of 2016  under the banners of of Excel Entertainment, Red Chillies Entertainment. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan as Raees Bhai in the story of the tiff between a bootlegger and a cop. The movie is expected to be released in July and will mark the entry of a Pakistani actress, Mahira Khan into Bollywood. The plot is set in the 1980s in Gujrat in the milieu of the prohibition of alcohol and prostitution infiltrating the state. Raees, the wily bootlegger, finds his business being challenged by a determined police officer played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film is directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and Gauri Khan.   Ae Dil Hai Mushkil: Starring Aishwarya Rai, Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor as  he lead roles, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is an upcoming romantic musical movie and fans have been waiting their hearts out to see all their favorite Bollywood icons in one setting. The music is produced by Pritam Chakraborty and the plot penned and directed by Karan Johar, as always, playing the cupid as a director of his own film. The film is going to be released in June 2016. Fan: Produced by Aditya Chopra, Fan is yet another film all SRK fans have been fervently looking forward to.  The film stars King of romance Shah Rukh Khan and suggests hints at being a celebration of the cult figure of SRK with some dark twists thrown in the typical filmi fashion. The movie is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, directed by Maneesh Sharma and set in Delhi. The film is expected to air in April 2016.
