Dhaka, July 5, 2021: Today Bangladesh Manobadhikar Sangbadik Forum (BMSF) with the Support of Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, Center for Communications Programme (CCP), Breakthrough Action & USAID and UJJIBAN Bangladesh jointly organized Zoom online training on COVID 19 Prevention.
From the Chottogram and Khagrachori districts total 50 TV, Print, On-Line and News Agency based local journalists participated the training programme.
The objectives of the training were to developed communications skills of the participated journalists’ community on COVD 19 prevention.
COVID 19 related technical and communications issues, role of media how to prevents deadly pandemic, social stigma and discriminations, Protection of the Journalists community, Promote Vaccinations, Handwash, Social distances, Uses Mask issues discussed during the training sessions.
UJJIBAN Bangladesh office, Chief of Party (CoP) Dr. Kazi Faisal Mahmud & Outreach Manager AFM Iqbal given technical support.
Technical Adviser of UJJIBAN Dr. Tajkera Noor Lipi and Dr. Sultana Nusrat also talked on the training session.
BMSF Secretary General Khairuzzaman Kamal moderated the training.
BMSF Media Relation Coordinator Sr. Journalist Syed Sofi coordinated the programme.
