DOT Desk: [2] Kishor Kumar Das, founder and chief of volunteer organisation Bidyanondo, has rendered resignation from his post following misleading information over his religious identity. The matter was informed in the Facebook page of the organisation today. Although Kishor Kumar submitted his resignation, he will remain with the organisation, it said, reports Somoy TV News.
[3] According to the Facebook post, the name of Bidyanondo was given by a Muslim brand expert. Although around 90 percent of its volunteers are Muslims, there are misleading information about the entrepreneur over his religious identity which is hampering its activities. Bidyanondo was founded by Kishor Kumar Das, a former Peru-based corporate professional and social activist, in 2013 to help the disadvantaged children get education. However, it has been carrying out various social and development activities.
