Bankers are collaborating with IT experts in order to orchestrate 67% of the online banking fraud, reports Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) in their research. BIBM published this at their auditorium during the event – ‘Alternative Delivery Channel Opportunities & Challenge of the New Banking Environment’, on yesterday. Though online banking is providing some incomparable facilities. But, transactions & remittance collections are becoming riskier everyday by the technological misuse.Now, Bankers needs to be more careful than ever, not bring about an economic disaster in a developing country such as Bangladesh, warned Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank. He also mentioned that, this alternative banking system has made it possible for most of the banks to run countless branches, with only 2 lacs of manpower in total.
