Shakib Al Hassan and Tamim Iqbal posted a tweet in Pashtu, tagging Javed Afridi, the owner of Peshawar Zalmi in Pakistan Super League. In a similar tone, both warmly thanked Javed and the Zalmi fans and expressed their hope to win the title again. The number one all-rounder’s tweet translated as “Hearty congratulations to you Javed Afridi and Zalmi fans on the new picks. I enjoyed the previous season with Zalmi and we’ll win the trophy again. I will be coming over to Peshawar soon.”Tamim Iqbal, promised he’ll not let the Zalmi fans down with his performance in PSL. He tweeted, “Thanks to Javed Afridi for the pick. I will try my best to per form according to fans’ expectations and if fans would pray for us then In sha Allah we will, once again win the cup.”Peshawar Zalmi has adapted different techniques to interact with the fans before the the third edition of the Pakistani T20 league outsets. Tweets in local language from the foreign players is just one of them.Daren Sammy and Chris Jordan were also seen tweeting in Pashtu. The gesture was well-applauded by the Pakistani fans. However, the Banglaeshi duo are now targets of enormous criticism in their own estate. Bangladesh when called the “East Pakistan” fought for Bengali as the province’s own official language against Urdu aggression. And the bitter history with Pakistan provoked a fury of anger in social media.Rudro Tahsin in tweeter posted , “Are you going to make Our language Urdu again?? shame on you. @TamimOfficial28 @Sah75official . use your Commonsense, we fought for our language. It’s painful too see that from you. If you can’t use your own language then use English. It’s international.”
