Jaya Ahsan is playing the role of Jibanananda’s wife Labonno Das in the film Jhora Palak” directed by Indian director Shayanton Mukhopadhay. She took part in shooting of the movie on Tuesday in Ahirittola, Kolkata. Jhora Palak has played the role of Poet’s two part of his life Bratya Bashu and Rahul of Kolkata. Devshankar Haldar is playing the character of Sangeetakanta Das, Chandreyi Ghosh as the mother of Jibanananda in the film. Apart from this, many characters whoare associated with the name of the poet can be found in “Jhora Palak” Movie. According to the screenplay written by the poet, there are some shooting plans for poet’s hometown in Barisal, said the director. After completing the shooting this year, director desires to start the editorship of the movie. After participating several film festivals around the world, “Jhora Palak” will be released for general people.
