Fire Service has created a list of 976 educational institutes that are at fire risk. They estimate, if fire broke out, these institutions will be experiencing high losses and casualties. FS gave 1 month’s ultimatum to all of these institutes to improve their fire preventions facilities.

The list includes from most prominent colleges to universities. Among them, Ahsanullah University of Science, BRAC University, Northern University and Tejgaon Ideal Schoold & College etc. are at extremely high risk. In spite of having chemical labs Ahsanullah University of Science has no fire-prevention tools.

882 others that are in average risk limit are, Viqarunnisa Noon School and College, RAJUK Uttara Model College, Dhaka College, Eden Women College, Jagannath University and East-West University etc.
