Beautiful silver Ilish are adorning the current market-places, since the seasonal ban has been removed. Unfortunately, each pairs still being sold from 1250 to 1500 takas. Though, the sellers are assuring the customers soon will be enjoying Ilish at lower price during Ramadan, as the supply is increasing.
Market condition is recovering from the flood influence. As the vegetables prices are now gradually decreasing. Though, fish-market still not showing any positive sign as promised. Sellers over charging for Pabda, Shrip, Boyal etc. fishes are by 50 to 100 taka.
At meat-market, beef being sold at 500 taka, lamb at 700 taka and chicken at 160 taka.
