Six terrorists including 26/11 terror attack mastermind Zakiur Rahman Lakhvi’s nephew Owaid were killed in a Massive operation carried out by security forces in Kashmir’s Bandipara District on Saturday evening, following which internet services in the valley was suspended. Two of the eliminated terrorist Zargam and Mehmood Bye were identified as the commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Loads of weapons and ammunition recovered from the operation.Through specific information about the presence of terrorists there, troopers of the army’s Rashtriya Rifles, the state police’s anti-terror squad and the Central Reserve Police Force had surrounded Chandergeer village in Bandipora district’s Hajin area.The Air Force had recently started attaching its Garud commandos with the army in Kashmir to give them “live situation training”. While, an Air Force commando, who was part of the joint team, however, lost his life in the operation. Another soldier is reported to be injured. Quoted from the Jammu and Kashmir police chief SP Vaid that the terrorist neutralized in the operation were the citizens of Pakistan. And the encounter was a huge success for the security forces.
