 The Public Service Commission (PSC) has recommended the appointment of 541 first class non-cadre posts out of those who did not get cadre even after passing the final results of the 38th BCS, reports Prothom Alo.
 In a press release, the PSC said that the candidates were recommended for appointment at a special meeting of the commission yesterday on the basis of BCS merit and recruitment rules.  Although he passed the written and oral examinations of the 36th BCS, he did not get any recommendation for the recruitment of 6,173 cadres due to shortage of posts. Of them, 5,032 applied to the commission for first-class non-cadre posts.
It has been recommended to appoint 111 people in the post of Social Service Officer / equivalent in the Department of Social Services of the Ministry of Social Welfare, 72 people in the post of Soil Resource Development Institute in the Ministry of Agriculture and 33 people in the post of Medical Officer in the Government Employees Hospital of the Ministry of Public Administration.
Besides, the PSC has recommended the appointment of a total of 541 people in 53 categories, including 75 people in the post of Assistant Engineer (Pur) in the Department of Education Engineering, Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education and 19 people in the post of Drug Supervisor in the Department of Drug Administration in the Department of Health Services.
