
44th National Science Week Seminar and Prize Distribution Ceremony at Bandarban

The 44th National Science and Technology Week and Olympiad and Quiz Competition, Seminar and Prize Distribution Ceremony were held in Bandarban under the auspices of the District Administration Bandarban Hill District and National Science and Technology Museum, Ministry of Science and Technology under the theme “Prevention of Waste of Electricity and Water”.

Additional District Commissioner (General) Suraiya Akhtar Sweety, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Umm Kulsoom were Additional Superintendent of Police Sadar Circle Md Shah Alam, Upzilla Executive Officer Umme Habiba Meera, Upzilla Executive Officer (Land) Nargis Sultana, Senior Assistant Commissioner Arup Ratan. Singh, executiveMagistrate Zakia Sarwar Lima, Executive Magistrate Prabir Biswas, Executive Magistrate Rajiv Kumar Biswas, Students and teachers from various schools and colleges who participated in the competition organized on the occasion of Science Week from the district and upazila along with senior officials of various government departments were present in the event. Md. Badsha Faisal, a student of Quantum Cosmo School and College of Lama Upazila, won the senior group of Science Olympiad. Al Farooq Ut, Sabahat Mustarin of Bandarban Institute won the first place in the junior group. Chief guest Dr. Md Zafar Iqbal handed over the certificates and prizes to the winners of the competition. After the distribution of prizes, Deputy Commissioner Yachmin Parveen Tibriji gave a felicitation gift from Bandarban to the chief guest.
