The 44th National Science and Technology Week and Olympiad and Quiz Competition, Seminar and Prize Distribution Ceremony were held in Bandarban under the auspices of the District Administration Bandarban Hill District and National Science and Technology Museum, Ministry of Science and Technology under the theme “Prevention of Waste of Electricity and Water”.

Al Farooq Ut, Sabahat Mustarin of Bandarban Institute won the first place in the junior group. Chief guest Dr. Md Zafar Iqbal handed over the certificates and prizes to the winners of the competition. After the distribution of prizes, Deputy Commissioner Yachmin Parveen Tibriji gave a felicitation gift from Bandarban to the chief guest.
