A court here on Monday convicted four people and sentenced them to life term imprisonment for killing a young man in 2004 in Savar.
The lifers-Selam Uddin, Abdur Rauf, Waz Uddin and Kujrat Ali of Ghashirdia village in Savar, were also fined Tk 10,000 each.
According to the prosecution, the convicts had killed Mohammad Selim, 27 of Ghashirdia village in Savar, over previous enmity and dumped the body at Marichartek cannel on July 15, 2004.
