[2] Chittagong Patiya Upazila Health Complex Medical Technologist (EPI) Rabiul Hasan has been accused of giving vaccine without registration. The office of the Divisional Health Director has formed a three-member investigation committee into the incident, reports Somoynewstv.
[3] A letter signed by Divisional Health Director Hasan Shahriar Kabir directed the formation of an inquiry committee yesterday.
[4] Chittagong General Hospital senior consultant Ajay Das was made the Chief of investigation committee and Deputy Civil Surgeon Md. Asif Khan and Dr. Nurul Haider were made members. The committee has been asked to submit a report within the next two working days.
[5] According to the letter, some synoform vaccines were removed from the Upazila Health Complex on July 30 and July 31. These vaccines have been given to unregistered people at the union level. For this, permission was not taken from the upazila, district or divisional level.
A committee was formed to investigate the matter.
[6] It is learned that vaccination activities were carried out at Arfa Karim High School in Shovandandi Union of Patiya last Friday (July 30) and at Shovandandi School and College on Saturday (July 31). In two days, about 2,000 synopharma vaccines were given at these two centers. One vaccine made from Synoform can be given to two people. It is estimated that 600 to 750 vaccines have been given there in two days.
It has been alleged that Rabiul Hossain, a medical technologist at Patia Upazila Health Complex, pushed the vaccine in exchange for money. Meanwhile, vaccination activities in Patiya fell into crisis on Saturday (July 31) due to such fraudulent vaccinations. Many have returned without getting vaccinated.
