[2]After the opening of the educational institution, the government has given permission to form and elect the governing body / managing committee of schools and colleges as well as private educational institutions at the lower secondary, secondary and higher secondary levels, reports KalerKantho.
[3]On Sunday (September 12), the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Education sent a letter to the Chief Presiding Officer or Returning Officer at the direction of the Ministry of Education. The letter, signed by Dhaka Education Board Chairman Prof Nehal Ahmed, said that the election activities in the educational institutions under the board were suspended from March 16 last year due to the Kavid-19 epidemic. A request has been made to form a governing body and a managing committee as educational institutions are now in operation.
Copies of the letter were sent to the Director General of Secondary and Higher Education, all Deputy Commissioners, Upazila Executive Officers, District Education Officers, reports Daily Campus.
