 In the coastal region of Satkhira, Shyamnagar Upazila, HSC and Alim candidates are being vaccinated against corona. Vaccination activities among students started yesterday noon in the hall of Ganamukhi Foundation, a non-governmental organization, reports Dhaka Post.
 Jahidul Islam Jasim, a student of Patakhali Fazil Madrasa in Padmapukur Union, said that each student is being charged Tk 150 for corona vaccine fee and Tk 10 for photocopying. 55 students from our madrasa will take part in the examination.
 However, the health department says that the health department is not involved in financial matters. And teachers say some money is being taken for breakfast, meals and travel expenses. He added that everyone has paid Tk 160. The money has to be given to the master of the madrasa, Atiqullah. Not only us, students of all institutions have submitted vaccine fees.
 Atiqullah, an assistant teacher at Patakhali Fazil Madrasa, said that Maulana Ohiduzzaman Saheb, the principal of Nawabaki Madrasa, had taken this money. The rest of the money will be refunded to the students.
 Ajay Kumar Saha, family planning officer of Shyamnagar Upazila Health Complex said that the process of vaccinating the students has started. We have a target of 2400 vaccines.
