[2] The injured people have been admitted to Sharankhola Health Complex. 7 of them were sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital as their condition was critical. The incident happened Monday night.
[It is learned that on September 20 (Monday) elections were held for the post of chairman in one of the four unions of Sharankhola upazila and for the membership in 35 wards. About 10/12 houses including Halim Khan’s business establishment were attacked. Extreme panic is prevailing in the area due to this attack.
