[2] The first batch of operations and maintenance staff and officials of Dhaka Metro Rail is undergoing training at the prestigious Delhi Metro Rail Academy (DMRA) in Shastri Park Depot in east Delhi, reports The Daily Star.
[3] DMRC Executive Director (Corporate Communications) Anuj Dayal said, the training has started from October 14 and a total of 163 officers will be trained in the field from 24 to 158 days through an agreement,reports Daily Manobzamin.
[4] The training of the first batch of Dhaka Metro Rail’s core staff and officers, consisting of 19 operations and 17 rolling stock officials, by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) officials began from October 14 under an agreement signed between DMRC and NKDM Association, a consortium.
[5] Hundred and sixty-three officials of Dhaka Metro Rail will be undergoing training at DMRA, reports our New Delhi correspondent. The training duration of the courses will vary from 24 days to 156 days as per the job profile of the participants, the DMRC said in a statement.
[6] Dhaka Metro will soon be beginning their Metro journey with the opening of their first line known as ‘MRT Line-6’, comprising 20.1 km.
