 Out of 24 footballers 11 have tested positive. Health experts said, special guidelines for infection prevention and control were needed for such an important group. Despite the negative results, everyone who came in contact should be kept in quarantine, said the deputy chairman of BAFUF’s medical committee. BAFUF has no chance to avoid the responsibility of mismanagement, commented the former officials, reports Somoy TV News.  On 17 May, BAFUF decided to cancel the Bangladesh Premier League midway. From then on, the footballers of the country had to take off their boots.  Former coach Shafiqul Islam Manik said, the camp could have been started much earlier, if this test had been done a month ago; they might have recovered and returned to the game.
