[2] Social Business Students’ Forum is one of most leading and one of the most achieving student platforms of Daffodil International University. It was established in 2012 with the mission of eradicating extreme poverty by exploring the knowledge of Social Business.[3] They are determined to promote social business around the world by creating a strong network with the student committee of diverse cultures.[4] Over the years, SBSF has created a positive impact in Bangladesh with their magnificent work ethics and now they are looking forward to creating a global network to preach the idea of social business to a border extent.[5] With that continuity, SBSF, Bangladesh Jointly organized “Virtual Youth Symposium on Mitigating Waste and Net Carbon Emissions” with the Nexense Social Business Club, Belgium on 29th April 2021 and supported by International Affairs, Daffodil International University with the initial idea to track problems, impacts, best practices, and the effective solutions and ideas on waste and net carbon emissions problems in respective countries. More than 100 participants from Bangladesh & Belgium have joined this program with huge enthusiasm.
[6] First started with the presentation that gave SBSF president Mr. Naimul Haider Rizvi and the Vice-President of NSBC, Aylin Galvanin on the history and diary of both clubs. This event was graced by the presence of Honorable guest professor Dr. Mohammed Masum Iqbal, Convener SBSF & Dean, Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurship, welcomed everyone to this virtual program as a special guest.
In the 1st plenary, Fahim Uddin Shuvo, Founder and Managing Director, GARBAGEMAN, Bangladesh were a guest speaker who discussed “Sustainable Process of Waste Treatment” and shared about the GARBAGEMAN and its work. He also talked about zero waste consultancy- where experts will analyze the business and come up with the strategy, collect the garbage plastic turn it into a sheet mainly focused on community-based products.

In the 2nd plenary, Jérome Meessen, International Expert, Energy & Climate Change Consultant at CLIMATE, Belgium enacted as the Keynote Speakers and discussed “Race to Reach Zero GHG Emissions” and shared his project on how to reach zero net carbon, an effective transformation of the world into a better place.
In the panel discussion, there had four panelists, in the 1st round the panel discussion on ‘’Sustainable Process of Waste Treatment” where there were 2 panelists, one from Bangladesh, Aivee Akhter, Fresh Graduate of Environmental Science and Disaster Management, DIU, and another from Belgium, Victoria Bruls, Member of the Project Management Team, Nexense Social Business Club. On the flip side, the 2nd round of panel discussion “Race to Reach Zon’’ in this plenary part also participated two panelist Abdullah Al Jubair, Student of Environmental Science and Disaster Management, DIU, Bangladesh, and Fluorine Roulin, Member of the Project Management Team, Nexense Social Business Club, Belgium, whereas student panelists of both countries have also been discussed from the resembling those problems of Bangladesh & Belgium.
By taking a virtual group photo of both country the program finally ended with great success.
