[2] “Muslin weaving is all about supreme concentration. It is about controlling your mind. The moment you lose concentration, you can tear up this finest of yarns. Once you lose concentration, you make a false step in the Sari you are weaving. Hours of work can vanish just for a tiny error in concentration.”
[3] It is also supremely dependent on weather. Very cold weather can stiffen your fingers and you can’t weave a Muslin Sari with such a thin yarn. Very cold weather can also curl up the fine yarn and you struggle to get it woven into the Sari. More moistures in the air can also affect your work. More moisture makes your fingers slippery and it becomes impossible to do weaving.”
