There is an increasing demand for drivers abroad. Hence, Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment has taken the initiation of ‘Skill for Employment Investment Project’ with the Ministry of Finance. The goal is to train 1 lacs interested Bangladeshi drivers and send them abroad in next 5 years. Secretary of Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare. Dr. Namita Haldar unveiled this news in a press conference to the Bangladesh Shongbad Shongstha, yesterday.
Also, 100 trainers will be created & appointed to train the drivers for abroad. Each 20 trainers are being groomed in 5 separate batches for 4 consecutive days, since 22 October.
