[2] Lockdown on one side, Bangladesh Games on the other. However, there is no health problem among the athletes participating in the games and those involved. As a result, the biggest event in the world of sports in Bangladesh is facing a kind of question. [3] Even though the games are running in a special system in the lockdown, the social distance is not being accepted; Many are not wearing masks. Athletes’ plans and success are not being caught together as many disciplines are finished in a hurry. [4] Meanwhile, on the fifth day of the Games, many disciplinary games have been rushed. That is why the athletes could not play as planned. Despite repeated requests from the federation officials, they are not able to abide by the health rules. Adhering to the distance, there is no caution in hand sanitizing.
[5] The Bangladesh Olympic Association has said it will monitor the matter for the remaining days of the Games. Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) Secretary-General Shahed Reza said, “We are trying to follow the hygiene rules as much as possible. Everyone is instructed. However, if anyone does not agree, we will strictly monitor it.” He added that the BOA will help the athletes to reach the disciplines which will be overdue to non-operation of public transport in the lockdown, as per Somoy News Online.
