A human chain has demanded that the age limit for entry into government service be made permanent at 32 years. The human chain was held yesterday at 11 am in front of the National Museum in Shahbag, reports Dhaka post. The human chain is organized by a platform called ‘Government Generation Aspiring Youth Generation’
Speakers at the human chain said that all the students have already lost a year and a half during the Corona period, which is going to be two years now. As a result, the current age limit for entry into the job is 30.
so those who were 26 or older at the beginning of the corona are being deprived of adequate opportunities to enter the job. They have no way of verifying merit for government jobs. As a result, the age of entry into the job should be raised to 32 and students of all ages should be given opportunities, reports Samakal.
The speakers further said that if the age of application for the job is permanently increased by 2 years to 32 years, everyone will get back 2 years of loss, reports Bangla Tribune.
