[2] Jatiya Party Chairman and Deputy Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Ghulam Muhammed Quader has greeted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the upcoming occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr by sending a greeting card, report The Business Standard, Bangla Tribune.
[3] On behalf of the premier, her Protocol Officer Md Abu Zafar Raju received the card yesterday, said a press release.[4] Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina greeted Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Opposition Leader Raushon Ershad and Deputy Opposition Leader Ghulam Muhammed Quader on the occasion by sending cards to them.
[5] Bangladesh is set to celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr in mid-May complying with hygiene rules amid the second wave of coronavirus.
[6] This is going to be the second Eid-ul-Fitr to be celebrated under pandemic restrictions.
[7] The government has urged all Muslim devotees to avoid Eidgahs and other open places for Eid congregations and offer prayers at mosques complying with coronavirus health guidelines.
[8] At the same time, they are requested to avoid handshaking and hugging after the prayer so that the virus cannot spread from one another.
