 SM Mohsin, one of the renowned theatre activists who was conferred with the Ekushey Padak in 2020, died of Covid-19 yesterday morning at BIRDEM General Hospital in the capital. He was 73. He was laid to eternal rest after Asr prayers at the Azimpur graveyard in the capital, reports The Independent.  Noted film personality Shafiuzzaman Khan Lodi who was also a popular host of television and radio programmes, died of coronavirus yesterday, reports Daily Observer.
 Meanwhilem Waseem, veteran actor of the golden old days of Bangla filmdom, was laid to eternal rest yesterday. The 74-year-old actor breathed his last on Saturday midnight after suffering from kidney, lung and eye diseases.
