UNB : [2] Bangladesh and the United Kingdom have discussed shared priorities ahead of COP26 and ways to resolve the Rohingya crisis.
[3] Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen and Lord (Tariq) Ahmad of Wimbledon, Minister of State Foreign Commonwealth & Development Affairs had a meeting in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and discussed the issues of mutual interest.
[4] Ahmad termed the meeting “productive” on co-ordinating their efforts on Afghanistan, supporting Rohingya refugees and upholding human rights.
[5] “We also discussed shared priorities ahead of COP26,” he tweeted.
