 BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is likely to get vaccinated for Covid-19 by next Sunday or Monday, reports banglanews24.com.
 It depends on the decision of the government if she will get vaccinated at home or at any vaccination centre.
 According to the personal physicians of Khaleda Zia, Sheikh Russel Gastroliver Institute and Hospital has been fixed as the vaccination centre. However, it depends on the decision of the government if she will get vaccinated at home or at the hospital, they said.
 Earlier on July 8, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia registered for the Covid-19 vaccine on the Shurokkha app.
Khaleda tested positive for Covid on April 11 and was admitted to Evercare Hospital on April 27.
The former premier tested negative on May 8.
 Khaleda was released from jail on March 25 last year, after the government suspended her sentence as per section 401 (1) of the Criminal Code of Procedure.
The suspension was then extended twice.
 The BNP chairperson landed in jail on February 8, 2018, after a special court sentenced her to five years in prison in the Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case.
On October 30, 2018, the High Court raised her punishment to 10 years.
