 Ten signs with the inscription ‘Little Bangladesh’ have been set up in the ‘Little Bangladesh’ area of Los Angeles with funding from the Bangladesh Unity Federation of Los Angeles (BUFLA).
 These signs are placed on both sides of the street from Third and Alexandria Street to Third and New Hampshire Street. This program was implemented by Buffalo on the occasion of the golden jubilee of the great independence of Bangladesh.
 These replica signs were put up on Tuesday 13 July. At first glance, the signs are adorned on both sides of Third Street.
In the darkness of the night, the words ‘Little Bangladesh’ shone on the headlights of the car, reports Manabzamin.
The project was implemented with the tireless efforts of BUFLA President Shipar Chowdhury and the leaders. It is learned that permission has been sought from various departments including the Department of Water and Power Authority, Board of Street Lighting, City Council, Department of Cultural Affairs, Bureau of Street and Lighting, Wilshire Korean Neighborhood Councils, Mayor’s Office, Council Office for the implementation of the project.
