 A record amount of transport has crossed the Bangabandhu Bridge. About 34,000 vehicles have crossed the country’s largest bridge in the last 24 hours. vehicles crossing the Bangabandhu Bridge during this year’s Eid travels, reports jagonews24.com.
 According to the Bangabandhu Bridge Authority, 33,912 vehicles, including buses, trucks and other vehicles, crossed the Bangabandhu Bridge in 24 hours from 8 am on Friday (July 18) to yesterday 8 am.
 Ahsanul Kabir Pavel, Executive Engineer of Bangabandhu Bridge Site Office of Bangladesh Bridge Authority yesterday said the toll has been collected Tk 2 crore 92 lakh 74 thousand 800, reports arthasuchak.com.
 Pavel said a record amount of transport has crossed the bridge in the last 24 hours. The toll collection will be more in the amount of transport that is being crossed even yesterday.  It is learned that toll has been collected against 17 thousand 513 vehicles on the east side of the bridge at a cost of Tk 1 crore 46 lakh five thousand 110. Toll has been collected at the cost of Tk 1,46,69,690 against 16,399 transports.
