[3]On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, cattle sales have arrived in different markets of the capital. With the approach of Eid, the cattle markets are getting crowded. Cows and goats are still coming in trucks and animal-carrying trains from different districts of the country. Yesterday, 3 special trains with 900 sacrificial animals reached the capital Dhaka. Buyers and sellers are busy in the livestock market, reports RTV.
[4]Buyers have been seen entering the market since yesterday morning. Looking at the cows of choice and bargaining. However, some buyers complained that the wholesalers demanded higher prices compared to the size of the cattle.
[5]On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, Bangladesh Railways has launched a “Cattle Special Train” service for transporting sacrificial animals from different parts of the country.
[6]On the Cattle Special Train, 97 cattle in nine wagons from Chapainawabganj and Rajshahi reached Dhaka’s Kamalapur Railway Station at 8:05 am yesterday, reports The Business Standard.
