[1] 25 female umpires to be officiating in national level school cricket

[2] According to the BCB, 25 women umpires will lead the match in Prime Bank National School Cricket starting from Monday. Sathira Zakir Jesse and Dolly Rani Sarkar officiated the BCB exhibition cricket match in Mirpur on March 26, Independence Day, channelionline.com.

[3] 348 schools across the country will take part in this year’s event which will start on April 5. 581 matches will be held at district level. There will be 653 matches in different parts of the country including divisional and national rounds, reports bangla.24livenewspaper.com.

[4] Iftekhar Rahman Mithu, head of the BCB’s umpires committee, said it was a preparatory step. As in the past, the main sponsor of the tournament is Prime Bank Limited. The private bank has signed a new contract with BCB for 4 years.
[5] He said Jesse and Dolly were umpires in a friendly match a few days ago. We will give opportunity to all those who did the course.
