[3] The mother left her two-year-old child at a tea shop in Benapole Bazaar and did not return. The child is currently in the custody of Benapole Port Police Station, as per bartabazar.com. His mother went missing after leaving the child at Tofazzal Hossain’s tea shop in Benapole Bazar around 9pm on Friday. [4] Visiting Benapole Port Police Station, it was seen that a police officer was feeding the child like his own child. Seeing this scene, the locals applauded the police officer. [5] The baby left at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport is still in the hospital, said Sayeda Anwar, head professor of the children’s department at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. “The baby is still well, healthy,” he told the Bengali Tribune yesterday. Saida Anwar said, “We admitted him last night for observation. I can see a little cold, and all is well. But a little apprehensive, it was out for a long time, we will observe for a few days. But I can say that there is no danger so far.”
