 Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (Bajus) yesterday decided to reduce prices of all types of gold by up to Tk. 1983 per bhori. The new changes were announced with immediate effect.
 Bajus reports that despite the global economic downturn in the Covid-19 region, falling doller and oil prices, rising and falling international and domestic gold markets, business is still struggling to keep pace, the gold prices have been reduced.
 According to the new price, from January 13, 22 carat gold were fixed at Tk. 72 thousand 667, 21 carat gold price 69 thousand and 517 taka, 18 carat gold price 60 thousand and 769 taka and traditional method will be Tk 50 thousand and 448 per bhori. (Translated by Shahnaz Begum).
