 Last year too, law enforcement agencies cracked down on gangs of teenagers and arrested a number of gangs on the basis of area-based clashes.
 But during the COVID-19 period, there was some relaxation in the activities of the law enforcement agencies against them and they again took to the field.  Sohail Rana, AIG (media) at the police headquarters, said legal action was being taken against such juvenile gangs in various places. Even then, there is a tendency to come out on bail and get involved in the same work again.  Social, cultural, economic and other issues are involved. So law enforcement as well as socially should try to resolve the issue.  In this case, the guardians of the family concerned should be sought. DMP Media Center DC Walid Hossain said there was no specific list of juvenile offenders in the capital.
However, legal action is being taken by identifying these criminals in different police stations.
