 Additional Director General (Administration) of Directorate General of Health Services Dr Nasima Sultana said that they were taking all-out preparation for preserving, supplying and administering the vaccines after they are available in the country.
 The final draft of the action plan has already been submitted to the ministry.
 At the same time, the venues where the vaccines will be administered are being readied for preservation.
 She further said that every vehicle meant for carrying vaccines will be equipped with freezing facilities.  Prof Dr Nasima Sultana said that the stores for preserving the vaccines are being readies in the capital and elsewhere in the country.
 Meanwhile, the government said that around 50 million vaccines will be procured for the country.
 The existing facilities at the district and upazila levels will be used for preserving the vaccines. The BADC cold storage at the airport area will be rented for the vaccines.
 The vaccines will be distributed across the country by the Beximco company.
