[2] Additional Director General (Administration) of Directorate General of Health Services Dr Nasima Sultana said that they were taking all-out preparation for preserving, supplying and administering the vaccines after they are available in the country.
[3] The final draft of the action plan has already been submitted to the ministry.
[4] At the same time, the venues where the vaccines will be administered are being readied for preservation.
[5] She further said that every vehicle meant for carrying vaccines will be equipped with freezing facilities. [6] Prof Dr Nasima Sultana said that the stores for preserving the vaccines are being readies in the capital and elsewhere in the country.
[7] Meanwhile, the government said that around 50 million vaccines will be procured for the country.
[8] The existing facilities at the district and upazila levels will be used for preserving the vaccines. The BADC cold storage at the airport area will be rented for the vaccines.
[9] The vaccines will be distributed across the country by the Beximco company.
