Tested positive on dope test, police official sacked

[2] Sources of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) said, the police officer was identified as SI Arif Hossain Mallick of Pallabi Police Station was sacked on Monday after conducting dope tests on thousands of members of the DMP recently, reports bd-journal.com.
[3] Evidence of heroin use has been found against SI Arif. There are also several drug-related allegations against him, reports Daily Bangladesh.
[4] A secret intelligence report also confirmed that Arif was friends with drug dealers, according to the list of DMP headquarters.
[5] Officer Arif said, “I was closed (withdrawn) in Rajarbagh on Monday”, however, he denied the issue of dismissal.

[6] Pallabi Police Station OC Kazi Wazed Ali said, “I have heard that Arif has been sacked, but haven’t received the paper yet.”
