 The government has banned the entry of outsiders in the public and private colleges, shut down dormitories and strengthened police patrol on campuses, reports banglanews24.com.
 The Secondary and Higher Education Directorate issued the order in the wake of a rape incident in Sylhet M.C. College which remains closed due to coronavirus.  The order was sent to the principals of all public and private colleges on Sept 29. It is said the Head of the institutions should maintain security on the campuses that remain closed for a long time due to the epidemic and take care of government property on the campus. As per the order, the online classes would continue, and a report of the online classes will have to be submitted to the regional director.
The vigilance teams will have to be formed at educational institutions and inspection reports to be submitted regularly to the head of the institution.
Instructions will have to be given to the students to maintain the health guidelines.
Steps to be taken to protect science labs, ICT labs, and Libraries in educational institutions.
Hostels and dormitories must be closed and entry of public in the campus restricted.
