 The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court will hear on September 21 the Anti-Corruption Commission’s petition against the High Court order that gave anticipatory bail to Bdnews24.com editor Toufiq Imrose Khalidee in a case of earning illegal property, reports Jago News.
 Chamber judge Justice Mohammad Nuruzzaman gave the order responding to leave to appeal by the ACC against the High Court order, reports kalerkantho.com.
 Lawyer Khurshid Alam appeared for the ACC while Abdul matin Khasru and M Aminuddin appeared for Khalidee during the hearing.  The ACC filed the case against Khalidee on July 30.
The ACC in its case statement alleged Khalidee deposited Tk 42 crore in different accounts of four banks which he earned through a deceptive process.
