 Bad news for the national team before Sri Lanka tour, national team cricketers and staff have been tested positive ahead of the tour. Two cricketers have been tested positive. However, no official statement has been issued by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) so far. On Monday 17 cricketers’ samples were taken for Covid-19 test including Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mostafizur Rahman. Seven support staffs samples were also taken. Out of 24 people two have been tested positive, reports Jago News 24.com.  Coronavirus test report had been sent to BCB CEO (Chief Executive) Nizamuddin Chowdhury Sujan but the board did not provide any information. Around 3:15 pm, BCB chief physician Debashish Chowdhury said, we have received the report.
As per the guidelines, I have forwarded the mail along with the report to BCB CEO. I am not allowed to say that.  As per the sources of BCB young opener Saif Hasan is infected via Covid-19 and also a staff has been tested positive. He is national team’s trainer Nick Lee.
