Bangladesh star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan tested negative for coronavirus after the cricketer had undergone the test at his residence on Thursday.
It was learnt from sources close to his family that Shakib’s coronavirus test came out to be negative.
Shakib, who is currently serving a ban imposed by the ICC last year in October, had made plans to start practicing on his own at BKSP after returning to the country. That, however, depended on him testing negative for coronavirus.
And following his negative result for coronavirus yesterday, the premier all-rounder is now all clear to start his much-needed practice at BKSP to stage a comeback to competitive cricket, reports TDS.
The ace all-rounder returned to the country from the United States after five and a half months on Wednesday to begin his journey towards resuming his cricketing career.
