 BNP’s acting Chairman Tarique Rahman sent a legal notice to the editor of daily Kaler Kantho for publishing news on corruption in the health sector incriminating Tarique and Hawa Bhaban, reports Naya Diganta.
 BNP’s legal affairs secretary Barrister Kaiser Kamal sent the legal notice via post on behalf of Tarique Rahman.  As per the legal notice, on June 23, the online version of daily Kaler Kantho ran a news item on the corruption of the health sector incriminating Tarique Rahman and Hawa Bhaban.  This has defamed Tarique Rahman and asked to prove the news content within the next 10 days. If failed, the daily newspaper has been asked to publish news seeking unconditional apology.
 Otherwise, civil and criminal cases will be lodged, the legal notice said.
